What kind of strategy game is Joe Town?

A native Mac city-builder and simulation. Paint roads, tune production chains, make permanent technology choices, and keep an eye on the neighbors.

Is $9.99 the full game?

Yes. One purchase includes all ten ages, 24 buildings, 18 technologies, every named Joe, and local saves. There are no ads, in-app purchases, or gameplay tracking.

Is Joe Town an idle game?

Joe Town combines hands-on town planning with an economy that keeps working. Town-defining choices wait for you, and bounded offline progress arrives as a report when you return.

Does it play offline?

Yes. Joe Town saves locally and runs with the internet off.

Which Macs are supported?

Version 1.6 supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. Support for Intel Macs in the next update is still being verified.

Is every town the same?

No. Worlds are seeded, founders arrive in a different order, and towns diverge through their Joes and choices.

Does Joe Town collect data?

The Mac game collects no gameplay data and requires no account. This website uses Google Analytics for aggregate visits.
